Its fragrance is complex, with notes of rose (yes, rose!) and conifer resin. Thanks to our unique roasting process, this Poivre des Dunes is ideal for pepper mills, as the resin is less present in the fruit. It also has less bitterness and a stronger fragrance than conventional dried peppers.
It is always used at the end of cooking, on fish and scallops (yum!), meats and cheeses. But also in salad dressings or simply on pasta topped with a local vegetable oil and local natural sea salt. 😊
For those who don't have a pepper mill, we have the ground version of Poivre des Dunes in 8 grams.
